gotta love the pool pole.  got one on clearance for 7 bucks and use it for everything.  was gonna do a tree out of it but it thin alum and worried about weight so i just use it to hang lights and what not.

OK so we were not so big on our tree topper for fixing Pixel strings - so another trip to Bunnings Pool section. Found a nice debris basket. Drilled a hole in the bottom and fitted 16 cable ties and there you have it. Pics of tree to follow.

So this is our Pixel based Megatree this year with Tuppet's tree topper, our pool pole and umbrella base with pavers. What a winner. Installed and running in no time.

You can also see some pixel strings forming a canopy.
