Ed how is the D4 coming along? Have the issues been sorted out yet?

As mike and other early orderers have been informed we are still not satisfied with the ECG-D4 performance and have shipped him and others ECG-DR4 units in place of their orders. We will keep working but know that the clock is ticking and recommend the solid ECG-DR4 for immediate use.

ECG-PPX specs, examples, and pricing have just been placed on our site. You can find them in the EthConGateway section of our product listings. They are solid and available so if you get down to your last minute configurations and find that you need some extra length to feed that isolated pixel string you can place orders for immediate shipment.

So the bottom line is that the onboard 5V has more flexibility than I may have led you to believe and that an external DC-DC can open up the envelope even more at 5V and 12V and we just have to, together, find some appropriate and cost effective units.

I'm contemplating getting into the ECG-PPX gear, any suggestions for DC-DC converters (36V to 12v and 36v to 5V)?

Did you work this out? I'm also wondering the same thing.
