What do we mean by a Protocol Bridge

Simple put. this is something that takes A protocol as an input and sends B Protocol as an output. This could be in Hardware or it could be a pure software solution.
This board will be for Tiger series hardware based solutions.

The EtherConGateway could be considered a protocol bridge as it receives E1.31 and sends DMX/Ren as outputs.

The TigerPB-TP510 that takes in DMX512A and sends out say 6803 compatible Serial stream is a protocol bridge.

Cheers
