Due to it being brought to my attention that dmx lighting info should always have a start code of zero I thought I should fix my code up so that it was dmx compliant. I have now updated the code for both of my dmx boards and the links to them are below with the firmware downloadable from my site. The changes from earlier versions are listed. A pickit 2 or pickit 3 is required to update the firmware and instructions are in the user manuals. The latest manuals are available to download from my site too and they have pretty colour pictures which I realised don't look so colourful in the B+W copies I send out with each board.

-Changed firmware for dmx start code of zero compliance
-Added a feature so that mode jumper changes that way that test mode works
-Fixed a bug that would cause flickering under certain channel setting combinations
-Changed data led flash rate so that it turns on and off directly proportional to incoming data rate
-Made changes to manual to indicate change to test mode, some better pictures and minor changes

Pickit 2 or Pickit 3 Pic programmers can be bought from Element 14, Radio Spares and plenty of other electronics retailers or there's some clones available through feebay or Aliexpress. They really are a must have device if you have DMX boards or E1.31 boards.
