Pixel Based Body Suit
« on: March 14, 2011, 12:27:24 PM »
I'm in the early stages of doing a design concept for a local primary school and their end of year school play. I am thinking of stringing RGB Pixels onto 10 Lycra Body Suits and being able to control each pixels wirelessly. At present we have no budget so I need to give them an approximate price before anymore time is spent on this. If anyone has any ideas I would be very greatful, I'm not doing this for any form of payment, the headmasters a good friend and its amazing what one commits themselves too over a beer or five.

Thanks
Steve

As far as I know, the response-box ones were not wireless.  They were just stand-alone controllers that played a sequence.

Your right dave, not wireless.   The RF issues for 300 performers were a little trickery.

Yeah, RF for the USA & UK has just gotten a lot trickier with the new (restricted) spectrum allocations.  Australia is next to change.
