Hi Guys, I promised a how to type post with the corro presents I made.

Pretty straight forward really and they say a picture says a thousand words. Feel free to ask any questions if I may have missed something you would like to know.

The black "ribbon" is just black corro cut up and hot glued around the outside.

As for the insides, I made another smaller corro box to leave all modules 50mm from the outside faces to allow good diffusion and even colour spread.

The corro present in the display are on vimeo. I have previously posted here if you want another look at the in action?

Thanks mate, didn't think of the internal box. I thought it would just be a box with some modules in the base. Similar to a hexa tree from holiday coro, but I'm still gonna steal the design.

Internal box.... very clever and a great way to evenly distribute the light in the present. Thanks for the pics.

I built some of these for Xmas 2014 and they looked great imho. I used a bit of leftover 30 led/metre DC strip with an X pattern across the bottom to provide the illumination. To get more light out where I wanted I used a bit of spray adhesive and some aluminum foil on the bottom and back faces on the inside of the presents. With just the "X" across the diagonals of the bottom and the reflective foil I got quite uniform brightness across the faces that can be seen.
