we cant convert vixen 3 because their files do not have rendered data.
the vixen3 files are high level files (things like do a chase on a arch). we would need all of their logic to recreate a converter. We are waiting for them to produce a rendered file.
So in summary
Vixen 2.1, 2.5 produce *.vix and *.vir
Vixen+ produces *.vix
LSP produces *.msq and *.seq (conductor file format)
LOR produces *.lms and &.lcb
HLS produces *.hlsdata
xlights produces *.xseq
falcon pi player uses *.fseq
all of the above are produced after rendering a show.
the CONVERT tab on xlights can convert any of the above into any otehr format shown above.
Vixen3 does not produce a rendered file so we cannot convert it.
This is a known shortcoming and is being looked at by the Vixen3 dev team. There is a beta version of Vixen 3 that has an Ed Brady enhancement of creating a virtual controller that records your show when it plays.
maybe ask on the Vixen 3 forum over on DIYC. That is the main forum for Vixen 3 developers.
Don't give up, just yet.
Not just users, but also the developers of Vixen 3 also happen to be users, and also need to be able to export from Vixen 3.
There are two efforts in progress. One is long term, and means a rewrite of the Vixen core (this will enable export, but its main reason is to make Vixen run more efficiently.) A guy has had a brainwave, and come up with a short term solution. Wait for an announcement from him (he deserves all credit for this !! ).
