I am interested around mounting options for lights and electronics. Mine have kind of been spread over the workbench in my garage the last few years and need to be tidied up.

Well, I definitely wouldn't have any excuse not to attend. Happy with the date and that would be about a 10 minute drive for me.

I have the networking skills, but not necessarily as they apply to lighting. I know what works for me, but not necessarily best practice. Happy to proof anything though if required.

What about a basic networking setup... with a lot of people using XLights/vixen with FPP etc, setting up the network. Dedicated presentation network. DHCP vs static addressing etc.
