PC power supply has 12v, 5v and 3.3v. Use a meter to find your outputs on the molex plugs. On the 20/24 pin connector, cut the green wire right at the plug and ANY black wire. Put a switch between those two wires (the green and the black). There... now you have a 12 & 5 volt power supply...
Food for thought - I am using a similar strip (5 meter - 30leds + 30chips per meter ws2811 for $32) and have NOT had to inject power to run the whole strip. Just power on the lead end.
You can recycle a used PC power supply. It is easy to adapt to handle the lighting. And they are fan cooled! Let me know if you need any help with that. I have a bunch of old 300-450 watt pc power supplies, so I have a few spares . I plan on getting some male molex plugs to allow me to plug...
Only thing I would change is to add power to the END of the third strip. This will allow "backfeed" to the third strip... which will help power distribution along that last strip (because you are already doing that with the first 2 strips). Other than that, looks good!
If you are ALREADY...
You need one of these...

Ray has other too, but that is the cheapest one.
Just because you are using RGB pixels, does not mean that they map as RGB. My ws2811 strips are GRB. You can re-map this in your P12R or via software. I use LSP and it remaps in just a few mouse clicks.
Nutcracker and xLights have combined into a new GUI program. You can find the latest version here:

Thank you Eddy - I think it is needed. It is really weird that the avi's in the LSP transitions folder all say 320x240 and yet don't suffer this problem. Even tried zooming the original output to make sure there were no black frames being generated there.
Yet Another Update -
Ok, I figured out 1 of the 2 issues I am having with this - I welcome any input on this!
Issue 1 - the file format for LSP transitions is -> .avi file - 320x240 - 29.97 fps - 512K bitrate
(it was the 512K bitrate that had me stumped for the longest time)...
I have never gotten HLS to work for me. Not that it is bad or that I have not tried. Actually spent two - 2 hour sessions with it and could not get any output. Would love to see it work, just for fun!
