Hi,
Can one setup a Matrix with P6 panels with a Beagle Bone, the same as for a P10 setup.

If not, has anyone a recommendation.

Thinking of using 8 x 3 (total 24) panels

Thanks. Deblen

Hi Smartalec,

I have the P6's already, 32 x 32. Looks like I bought the wrong type.

Is there a way I can run video through the panels.

Hi

If that is the case Bbayjohn, what would I require to do, as the panels are not much use then.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Deblen

32x32 panels should work fine if they are 1/16 scan panels. I modified the code a long time ago to support these. I tested the code personally with a 64x64 P3 panel which was really 4x 32x32 panels put together in one frame.

In the FPP UI, just select 32x32 as the panel size and you should be OK.

that would explain why the p6 32x32 1/8th scan panels dont work..

Len i ended up getting this system to control them
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Linsn-801-802-control-system-1-sending-card-sd801D-sd802D-1-receive-card-rv801D-RV908D-hub75/611322254.html?spm=2114.13010208.99999999.540.Y5609d

but apparently there is interference from the pi hdmi an the linsn card DVI input.
it it will work perfectly if you run xlights from your computer tho

Yeah, those probably work the same as the 1/4 scan 32x16 panels. I should have some of those in hand soon and will work on a patch to allow FPP to support 1/4 32x16 and 1/8 32x32.

Hi,

Captain Murdoch, I was wondering if you had the chance to look at the P6 panels 32x32 1 eight scan.

Thanks Deblen

I haven't had a chance to look at this yet. I want to add support for the 1/4 scan outdoor 32x16 panels also but haven't got to that either.

Thanks Captain :)
We look forward to a fix for those panels.
For the time being I plan on using one of Smartalecs boards for this Christmas.
