Hi Gurus, I have a dilemma.

Have 4 strands of 50 pixels, that came pre-pigtailed on each end.
Want to connect 2 strands together off each of 2 ports of controller. - I've attached a rough drawing.

BUT want to use only 48 pixels in each strand (Prop has only 48). being lazy and don't want to cut off last 2 pixels of each string as I need the pigtail at the end of the first 2 strings anyway.

Question - how do I set this up in xlights and my controller?

I can easily setup so last 2 lights of second strings don't light up, but I can't work out how to stop last 2 lights of 1st strings lighting up.

Any suggestions?

Depending on the controller you use then you could use Null pixels as an option as well. but this wont work with every controller, only with controllers that support Null pixels

Thanks Keith that worked
Though for practical physical reasons I would have preferred last 2 leds to be off. But will work with what works.

Thanks Eddy, I did try that but my controller will only do Null pixels at end of all strings.
