A new prop for this year's Halloween display is my small creature box. It uses a digital picture frame (< $20 off Gumtree), some scrap pallet wood and a few screws. The bars on the "window" were cut from some old window blind slide rails and glued into place. The video loop "Eerie Eyes" is from AtmosFX and was uploaded into the frame's onboard memory via USB. The frame runs from 12V, but I've used a 24V -> 12V DC-DC converter to both avoid voltage drop issues and standardise on 24V for most of my display items. More details on da-Share.

Another item for my Halloween display is a simple frame to mount a old 32" LCD TV. The frame holds the TV at the correct height to be seen in the top half of a front window. A $35 media player is running an AtmosFX video loop and is powered from a spare USB port on the TV. More details on da-Share.

Love all these props you made. Looking forward to seeing the video of them all setup in the display
