Update, I've answered a. and b. myself, and will work through importing the sequences when I feel up to it.
Still poses the question though as to if the Intro version of LSP will allow output through the OpenDMX Protocol or not.

Ok... don't shoot me for the cr@p quality of video... I was tired and didn't have the best stabilisation for the camera. It was shot on my Samsung Galaxy S3.

All light strings are now finished... and no more will be added until at least next years display (hear that dad? lol).
After countless burns from the soldering iron, frustration with heat shrink being too small, and other minor issues, I have now completed the final piece, a 5m wide "curtain"...
After hours of cutting, testing, joining, soldering, and heat shrinking.... all of our strings are done.
Its was 2 full days working with basically virgin strings of lights, cutting them down and joining where required. A few more measurements for where I needed to add extensions for power...
