Is there an easy way to remove the sticky tape off tie down mounts

I have no experience with these, but I usually find gummy stuff easier to remove when cold. I'd try sticking them in the freezer overnight.

    Blue Invading my Sequence

Don't know if it's relevant here, but I've gotten weird colors when I cranked up the brightness setting (left bottom).

LSP and e6804 - no joy

Yes, output is configured and the output button is on. Thanks for the suggestions, though!

LSP and e6804 - no joy

I am having a fitful time trying to setup my e6804 for use with LSP 2.8. I can access the config screen, can run test sequences from the config page and the pixels work. I can run test patterns in XLights. I can run converted sequences in XLights. I cannot control the pixels at all in LSP. My...

    Shipping with Ray

While we're talking shipping, I just got my first order from Ray. Came less than 10 days after I placed it (on a Sunday night). I was quite pleased. I know some folks have complained recently that he must be swamped, so I thought I should share my experience.

Running LOR Controllers in a DMX Universe

I am planning to do much the same, but instead of trying to hook the LOR to the e1.31 you need to dedicate a port on your SanDevices controller to output DMX. Then you can connect your LOR to that port and run it in DMX-mode. That's the PLAN anyway. (or buy a dedicated bridge, as was suggested...

E682 Outputs in Use and new 4x Firmware

I'm not sure I'm following your question, so forgive me if I'm off base. The "output in use" checkbox refers to the physical connection on the board, is it in use. If it is, the box gets checked and then you define how it's being used: protocol, physical pixels, how many physical pixels make up...

    LOR RGB 10W flood

Oh! Well that's a very helpful point. I hadn't considered driving multiple floods off of a single controller. That does close the gap a bit. Thanks!

    LOR RGB 10W flood

Seems pretty pricy to me considering the controller is extra. HolidayCoro.com has their flood kit for $25, which includes the DMX decoder, and a $10 harbor freight flood housing and you're in business. I guess it's a good deal if you already have DC controller space available. And the HC is only...

    SanDevices E682 vs E6804

I have just ordered an E6804 and read the manual in anticipation of it's arrival. The more I look at it the more impressed I am with what the 6804 can do and am left wondering why the 682 has such a broad audience. I understand that the additional outputs meet some very specific design needs; if...

Running LOR Controllers in a DMX Universe

Ahhh! I found it! The LOR site itself says that the LOR dongle (USB485) is an approved DMX adapter. See this: http://www.lightorama.com/help/index.html?the_dmx_tab.htm It can only drive one universe, and like the Enttec Open it is CPU-reliant (and therefore prone to stuttering) but this should...

Running LOR Controllers in a DMX Universe

I just want to be sure I'm hearing you right, you are using an LOR USB dongle to drive a DMX network populated with DMX-native devices. I've been looking for info on how to do that and the helpful folks at LOR told me to get an Enttec! Can you point me to more info about how to set it up to do...
