I bought several used 1200w power supplies a while ago and was wondering if anyone here has or is thinking of making these available.

I did buy some of eBay but unfortunately they got lost on the way here.

They look good, I added 1 to the cart and got a $50 shipping estimate that scared me a bit. Has anyone had stuff shipped from him to AUS or NZ $50 on an $8 board seemed a bit much.

I did look at some of the PCB makers but they didn't have any shared boards. Keen to solder if I could get one of PCBWay or similar.

I meant to get in touch with Jeremy about shipping. I got the same price when I looked at some stuff. As that's about 3 times what I charge to ship from Aus to US I got a bit of a shock too.

I'd like one with chunky M6 or 8 bolt terminals so I can take a single thick pair of wires off to a 80/100 amp breaker then to a fuse breakout or busbar.

I have bought a lot of boards of PCBWay for different things and they are super quick and affordable mainly shared homebrew stuff that people share, anyone here willing to put something up to share? I don't mind paying for stuff but the shipping prices for some low price items are killing me.

I'm happy to design and build the board but haven't got details on connector etc required.

so how easily available are these power supplies to obtain ?

wouldn't mind getting a couple of these and of course the edge connection boards too.

There are a few about second hand from server upgrades on ebay etc but they have got pretty sort after from people of these sort of groups. You can still find 1200w ones around for $40-50, I managed to get 4 or so recently.

While trying to find out what connectors they use and the pinout I came across some breakout boards on feebay. Some of these have screw connectors, some have cables that come with them, some have voltmeters on them, some have on/off switches. A fair portion are well below the prices that I could supply as they are around the price that postage costs me to send anything.

Just looking at them now.
Would I be right in assuming any of these HP power supplies prefixed with DPS takes the same breakout boards ?
These power supplies look like a winner, even used if I got a spare it should still be pretty good value.

Looking like my mega tree will be 12v one now.
