Hi All,

So yesterday I powered up for the first time my F16V3 and all went great, it powered up, I connected network cable and it got an ip address of 192.168.0.20 so I typed this into the browser and got the web page up and was able to see all the settings. Firmware 2.0x

Not having any pixels I then grabbed a DMX 27ch controller and connected it to serial port 1 on the F16V3 connected some lights and ran the RGBW test, and voila we had light Red, Green, Blue, White, doing the colour ramps each colour lit up correctly. Red ramp was Red, Green was green and Blue was Blue.

Next I thought I would update firmware to latest firmware, so went to the site and grabbed the files for 2.55 and uploaded to the board, again a success and no 2.55 installed.

However now when I run the RGBW test or colour ramps the colours are incorrect. Again not having pixels, I'm running the test to a DMX controller on serial port 1 controlling dumb RGB modules.

Red is Green
Green is Blue
Blue is Red

It sounds like the start channel (or channel data) is off by one. If it only happened after the Falcon update it sounds like a bug.

it's been a while since I have played with this DMX controller, so I just realised that the modules were connected to output 9 (ch25-27), so I put it on output 1 (ch1-3) and Red is not showing at all, however when I run the DMX on board test mode, by having dip switch 10 on and nothing else, Red does light up on output 1....

Going back to scratch.

DMX board powered up only.....using on board test mode, ie dip switch 10 on all others off, all modules on all 9 outputs light up in every colour in the test

Power up F16V3, and connect Cat5from serial output 1 to DMX controller, all modules light up using RGBW on Falcon except no red on first module (channel 1).
Connect pixels to falcon, test mode from falcon, Ramp Red and pixels are red, dumb rgb are green, Ramp Green, Pixels are Green, Dumb RGB are Blue, Ramp Blue, Pixels are Blue Dumb RGB are Red, except for modules on output 1.

Next DA_Tester, connected to falcon, aned can use sliders to light up modules, Red lights up every module Red including output 1, Green lights up Green and Blue lights up Blue.

Not sure what to do next, but seems falcon is not seeing channel 1 as channel 1 but seeing channel 2 as channel 1, as mentioned earlier, it was all working fine prior to updating to 2.55, so considering downgrading to 2.52
