Newbie from Melbourne!

Hi there,
My names Maddy and I'm starting a display with 'eizziljam' this year for our first time.
I work as a lighting designer and technician in theatre & live entertainment and since my industry is shut down for now I finally have time to do a display with Lizzie!
We got our first string of lights working the other night (thank you to those that helped us via zoom)
Looking forward to learning lots and having something to do in these COVID times.
I hope we haven't set our goals too high for our first display (pic attached)

As per my introduction;

- As I saw a comment on a newbie's Facebook post:
"Hope your single, rich, and have a full liquor cabinet."

Read up, study, study, plan and repeat. Make sure you know what you're wanting before you spend money!

I would diffidently look around before buying kits, much cheaper and more suited when custom made. And it's part of the fun making your own!

Great to see more lighting people from the events industry coming in!
I have been able to get my pixel controller working with a Chamsys console I use.
Might be cool if you want a cheap method of pixel lighting in a theatrical show.

Hey I'm in FTG. I ran my first display with pixels last year. Happy to share info, if you want to drop by.. I only have some arches with air seeder hose / LDPE and mini trees.

Good to know where I can get spares at the last minute ;-)

ive bought some air seeder hose... need to cconstruct our arches! It would be good to come see how you wire everything up and lay it out close to Christmas thanks!
