Hello all, I’m from Calgary Alberta. I’ve done some amazing things with our home with pixels, have become fairly well versed with sequencing in X-lights and am preparing my first show/display. I have a LOT to learn and hope to study the 101 manual you’ve constructed. As an electrician I suppose it’s natural that my biggest curiosity lies in the actual physical wiring, placement and order. (And find out if I’ve gone the right directions...). I know I will have a ton of questions and I’m thankful to have found a group of guru’s to learn from. To see what some of you have constructed is breathtaking. I hope one day to add my own tricks to this bag of talent. Cheers!

Hi Cygnus. Welcome to ACL. In addition to the 101 Manual, ACL's Wiki, Forums, Media, and Display Videos are searchable and hold a significant amount of information to help answer questions and provide suggestions for display ideas/solutions. The ACL Chat Room is also a good place to ask questions although it does have a tendancy to be more active during the Australian daylight hours. Again, welcome to ACL.

Welcome to ACL. You've always got a head start when you've got some electrical knowledge when you start with lights. So many are confused by the difference between 40A at 5V and how that's not the same thing as 40A at 240V (or 110V).
