Where not allowed to go to Bunnings in Vic Metro due to lock downs, so have no idea what stock they have 
There’s none looks like they only ordered 1 box of 6 per store and sold them straight away , they won’t be getting any more either apparently

I checked Kalgoorlie Bunnings on Sunday, none there .. but did notice they're selling 10pixel a metre strip, 5m strips for $35 with a bonus remote!

As with any colored prop, you'd want to run mostly white lights inside but it's not about the color it's about being able to easily control them in your display. I did one up the way @lithgowlights suggested -- Created a base out of old pallet wood, attached a threaded rod onto that, ran 7 pixels along that and stuck that through a hole I drilled in the bottom.

Can not quite tell from this pic, but i got 6 of them on the poles.
I ended up using modules attached to some steel strapping and thread through, just had to drill another hole in the back for them to come out near the bottom. I can do some cool effects through them.
