Hi Peeps
So i am trying to get connected to my home network and drawing a blank as to connecting it. The K4 has to ethernet connection only USB so, do i need a USB to ethernet adaptor for first time set up or should it be able to connect via the Nano WIFI adaptor? It just says "No Network" on the screen and am banging my head on the old brick wall. I'm sure I've missed something simple but just cant see it, any help would be great (as in an A, B, C.....LOL)

Thanks Again.......

If you connect to the USB port, you can access the FPP (K4-PB) using one of the following IP addresses:
192.168.6.2 (MAC or Linux)
192.168.7.2 (Windows)

This is in the manual on pages 13-14. Once connected, you can set up the Nano.

You may have to set up networking on your computer to recognize http://fpp.local. The way to do so varies with the OS.

So, a USB to Ethernet adaptor would be best initially to set up the FPP to my router as the router has no USB connector.

No, you use USB tethering to set up networking on the Pocket Beagle. 192.168.6.2 & 192.168.7.2 are network addresses assigned to USB.

Depends on which Nano Wifi adapter... if it's the AC1300 Nano, then if there is no network, it's likely broadcasting an "FPP" wifi network that you can connect to (password is Christmas), point your browser at 192.168.8.1, and then reconfigure. If it's the 150M Nano, then using USB tethering to your computer is the best option.

You may have figured this out, since its been about 10 days, but did you try to connect the laptop or PC you are using to configure it to the wifi network called "FPP"? Password 'christmas'?
