I've promised the little ones that I'll be doing a song from Frozen this year - currently committed to "Let it Go", although could probably change their minds if I have another one that works better.

But my issue is I'm really struggling to get started with sequencing this one.. So I thought I'd ask if anyone else has sequenced it, and wouldn't mind sharing what they've done (even if it's a rough work in progress), to hopefully give me some inspiration? I certainly won't copy it (if that's even possible), but would just like some ideas!!

Cheers

I am doing frozen as well. What version of the song are you using? Is it the demi Lovato or the Idina Mendel one? I am using the demi Lovato one as it has more to sequence to/more upbeat.

I've likely got a couple of LOR shared ones (e.g. folks on the lor forum shared it with whomever asked) that I plan to convert, but waaayy procrastinating the sequencing this year..

I'm doing the Demi Lovato one as well, as that's the one my 8yo has specified.. Give the client what they want, I say!

Me too - been a crazy year and only in the last few weeks realised it's time to get moving!

I am not sure how good I did. I merged Do you want to build a Snowman, into For the First the time in forever and then into frozen. The entire sequence is 7 minutes. I took a while to sequence it all... Hopefully this gives you some ideas.

Cool - thanks - that should give me some good ideas!

Hello,

If anyone can send me a copy of this sequence it would be appreciated.... I have a couple of young nieces that will love it and it is my first time with the LOR gear.

48 Channels with some RGB strips ..

Cheers....

I ended up doing a pretty boring sequence to "Let it Go"- but I'm in LSP so won't be of any use to you, I'm sorry. The problem with more advanced setups is that they're not easily transferred to other displays - that was why I was after some examples just to get some motivation/inspiration, rather than a "drop in" sequence..

You may have more luck from the LOR guys?

Well since I'm always doing things at the last minute I bought this 12 ribbon sequence for Let It Go from Brian at SuperStarLights. Below is his video for the song. He has a 25% off sale going.

Even though he designed these sequence for LOR CCR's I have a quick process where I'm able to export the sequence from Superstar and then import it into LOR then I open up my sequence and copy/paste the data over top of my DIY 12 ribbon DMX channels. The trick was to create 7 dummy channels per ribbon so that the CCR macro data has somewhere to paste into. Once you setup the channel config I can bring in one of these purchased sequences in less than 5 minutes. Then using a slightly longer process I copied the 12 ribbon tree data over to my new pixel tree. Since it has 32 strings the data repeats around the tree almost 3 times. Afterwards I import the LOR sequence into xLights, sequence the rest of the yard with something decent to match, and export to an fseq file to play on the Falcon Pi Player.
