I have 2 pixcon16 controllers and 1 falconv3 with 2 expansion boards. What would be the best power supply to handle 2,688 pixels per controller? Also what would be the best enclosure for a falconv3 and 2 expansion boards with ribbons?
Thank You!

Enclosures - check amazon.com for BUD Industries Enclosure or CableGuard Enclosure (the CG-1500 being quite popular, but maybe not big enough for your need) . HolidayCoro are expected to have a new enclosure out in August, purpose designed improvement over the cg-1500 they normally use.

Power Supplies
- Meanwell brand are rated highly (eg. Meanwell NES-350-12) but are a bit more expensive than ones available thru chinese dealers on ebay or aliexpress. The number of power supplies needed depends on current draw and voltage of the pixels you are using, generally 350W or 600W supplies are used. Another tip is try to calculate requirements to maximum draw of 85% of the power supplies rated output.

Here's a handy calculator someone on here made, to help calculate number of supplies required.

Hey eagle are you running 12v or 5v myself out of stubbornness am still 12v solely ! I buy cheaper power supplies from ebay etc 12v 33 amp to this day have never had a problem I always work out expected current draw and work out from there ! But using pixels I personally have controller s turn brightness down too 20% as not to have people having seizures in front of my house as they are too overpowering for me anyways . But always allow enough power for if they where to be stuck on total white !

I will be using 12v pixels. Im thinking maybe using 350watt power supply at each end of my 168 pixel tree and see what happens. As soon as I figure out the power supply and enclosures I will need. Then I will be figuring out how to use xlights to run on falcon pi. I been watching John Storms videos but can't figure out why he is using a SD card as well as a jump drive.

Just my 2 cents worth on power supplies. I use the cheap Chinese ones off ebay. With powerr supplies for some reason you get them cheaper on ebay than aliexpress. But I usually buy more than I need, that way if one does go down during the show, I have a backup. Not that I have had one fail yet. maybe because I never run them to the limit.

I too have got some from eBay.

Just for interest I have just got two quotes from Ray for this year in the past week. (several items on the order)
With 2 power supplies included was approx $72 AUD extra.
I can purchase 2 power supplies from eBay for $50 AUD delivered..........$20 is better in my pocket I say.....
