There will be another group buy happening on the US forum for these null pixels.

These null pixels are great as they don't use any channels and therefor you don't have to worry about configuring them in your controller or sequence. Just solder them in every 4 or 5 m and they fit nicely inside 12mm heat shrink. I use the dual wall stuff and just add some silicon in before applying heat.

It's the ones I showed at the Brisbane mini.

New thread with spreadsheet to order in his first post is at http://doityourselfchristmas.com/fo...-null-pixel-without-pixel&p=466556#post466556

I use these ray wu null pixles in about 4 spots in my display. I love the idea of replacing the null pixles and not having to allow for them in my sequencing/configuration

Yes it makes life a lot easier. Especially when you find later that you did a cable a bit too long between pixels, just add one of these and not have to worry about controller or sequence changes.

The heat shrink in the picture is 13mm, so they are very small, I use a longer piece over the null pixel and add silicon to each end before shrinking it. Had no issues last xmas and they were all out in the rain/storm.

Yes you do. I have done it this way three times over the past two years and expecting more now. He will send a PayPal request and once you pay he usually sends them pretty quick, my postage cost ended up less then what the spreadsheet said so he doesn't make any money on them.

I suspect they'd be Ray' wired with the female plug as input and male as output? I do it the other way on everything
they're not wired , they're just the board supplied as below, you put your own ends on them
personally I used ray's pigtails slipped a piece of 8mm dual wall heatshrink onto each one and a piece 13mm over the board shrunk the 13mm first them slide the 8mm over the shrunk ends of the 13mm and shrink it and you a sealed unit with no silicone required
