Very nice.
Just a thought, and take it with a grain of salt if you wish, why paint the box black?
I usually paint them up like presents and make them part of the display.
It just looks like random presents all around the yard and if you paint it black it will be like a heat soak, you already need to displace as much heat as you can in our summers without adding to the problem.

Well I have started on the enclosures for my Falcon 4-String Differential Receiver Boards. This year I'll have 2 enclosures with 1x12v power supply, 1x differential board, 1x F8 distro. Cases are from Supercheap Auto.

Still need to add vent and fan...

Just a little update.

Got the Roof lights installed over the weekend...
A lot of drilling but loving the look... Best thing is that they match in very well with roof so not really seen during the day

Looks good! I'm thinking of ditching strip in favour of nodes next year. What spacing did you use and what process did you use to drill the holes and keep them all straight?

90mm Centres to allow for the pixel to be inserted with ease. Drilled 12.5mm holes through both sides using a drill press and a jig i made out of wood (will post photos when home.. Very Simple)). Picked one side to be the back and the hand drilled that side to 13mm hole to make inserting the pixels easy. I'm mounting the to my roof using the conduit clips from bunnings... Best thing Sprayed painted them black too.. They will stay on the roof all year round... Only need to unclip the pixels and store...

Here are a couple of pics showing the pixels mounted on my roof, from the street you really can’t see them during the day

No Power injection on the roof... Left side of the roof has 124 pixels and the rights side has 2 parts 1=126 pixels and the other 52 pixels.
My controller / power supply is attached to my roof next to the Antenna.... only running at 80% on a Falcon 4-String Differential Receiver Board.
its only about 10cm from the controller to the 1st pixel..

Well everything is up and running...
Got to have a really good test of just how waterproof I made everything... 2 hours after I had everything up and connected it started to rain... Heavy for the next 3 hours... everything kept working... YAY...
we have also had a bit of a heat wave in tassie and all my enclosures stay pretty cool... My Small ones now have 2 fans / vents in them while my master box has 4 vents / fans.
