Bought some on weekend from local hardware 4 x 6m at $2.50 per lm. like your prices much better (if that's a per length price)

To put it in perspective, you must look at the different conduits. Water pipe is expensive, waste pipe is a little cheaper and electrical conduit is the cheapest.
So make sure when you are looking for xmas stuff, go for the electrical conduit. we only need it to hold lights, not 100psi of water.

Bunnings (for me) is $4.35 per 4m length. Burnt's link above is $2.50 per 4m, almost $2 per 4m cheaper!!
agreed, i was refering to the 2.50 p/m being over the top in comparison to bunnings , as its double bunnings price even. most wholesalers will do around the 2.50 per 4 m length if you ask the right way

I'd say you purchase pressure pipe Boof63 as Electrical conduit is 4 mtr in length.
Pressure pipe is 6 mtrs and price is dependent on its class - pressure rating.

I just did a trial price run on the Sebl Supplies link. They being based in Vic, charge me $ 10 to get my order of 100 conduit pipes to Queensland and then they give me a $ 12.95 discount because the order is over $ 200

My local electrical supplier (30 km away) charges close to the Bunnings Price. This now gives me something to barter them with

might be different for me, Im a sparky with a trade account, so my pricing would be different to over the counter sales

I had a sparky come to last years display - he thought I was a sparky due to all the conduit I used.
I told him my occupation and he was very impressed considering I am not a sparky.
Told him I made the mistake of using 20mm conduit for my driveway arches and that I should have used 25.
He said he had tons of it at home and would donate it to us as we do charity fund raising.
I guess he forgot about it as we are still waiting. Oh well, lets get on with more blinky things.

Bought some electrical conduit 20mm x 4m , from same hardware as 25mm pvc. Cost for 20mm elec was $4.00 per length.
Bit better deal. Tried stratco and lad there quoted $10 x 4m length - so left that alone.
Cheers and thanks for heads up everyone
