No matter which system you buy, if you have it connected to your internet, and you do nothing else, then CHANGE THE DEFAULT PASSWORD.
Otherwise two things can happen.
1. Your camera can be used to spy on you across the network (aka webcam!).
2. Weaknesses in the camera system (and there are plenty) means that your camera can be used as an access point to hack your entire network. (and spy on your personal details)
Cameras / cctv systems are notoriously insecure. If you do nothing else to secure your system at the very least remember: Change the default password.
