Afternoon all,

So as i was showing the missus the plan for the house this year she saw the big double garage door banners from the door decor in the US. They are currently on special and we can get reduced freight as they can fit a few per box. Is anyone keen before i go and ask for pricing. Currently they have advertised a $50USD discount on their website. Wanted to look at order in March if anyone is keen.

Maybe link to them Matthew. I got a couple a few years ago and I love them.

a) how long is the sale on for
b) any idea of shipping costs
might be interested, though bulk buy might not be worth it depending on shipping costs from WA to NSW/VIC/QLD

We got a cover off this guy quite a few years ago and it has weathered our (NZ) summer sun exceptionally well. They are larger sizes than our kiwi double door size and I had to have ours narrowed up a bit.

It's a big hit with the sleigh and reindeer parked in front of it so I'd certainly recommend these.

A big hit for our display. Did pick it up for a bargain locally though.
Lost count of the photos of kids taken in front of it.
And you will never have to worry about it not working

They are awesome! Love it...

We have used https://www.dresslily.com/wall-tapestries-c-310.html previously, but not specifically for Christmas...

So what type of garage door do people have this in front of? Does it render the roller door unusable during Dec?
We have a roller door and I'm sure if we were to successfully attach it to the door, it would be ruined within a week of constant rolling and unrolling.
We're one of those rare houses that actually uses the garage for holding cars (or as Moe Szyslak calls it, the car hole!)

@djgra79 there is a video link on the web page but they are designed for the doors to allow them to be raised and lowered and the clips that come with it have springs to allow movement. By all accounts they work really well.

Worst case scenario, you could attache them to the garage door entrance roof (behind your lighting strip) on a curtain rod-like thing and have it hanging down like a curtain... but that could be a PITA when its time to get the cars in and out...

Wish the exchange rate was a bit better, but at current rates, it would be about $319 aus, not sure how much postage, but I would assume that it would not be cheap.

Postage was about $100 per unit if we purchase a pallet worth. I have also seen a local signage place here in Perth who quoted $750 per banner if i can get artwork to them in a suitable format. The door decor has an alternative coming out in fabric which is cheaper, lighter and will result in it being cheaper to send. If i hear anymore i will post on this site.
