I've decided to give my pixel mega tree an overhaul this year, but I'm trying to work out what's better - half tree or full tree? Half the tree is visible from the front of the display (where most people will be looking at it, including me) and the other half is blocked by a high fence and only really visible in the back yard.

What do you do? Do you only cover what's visible or do you do a whole tree for the sake of aesthetics?

Thanks! :)

Half a tree. All effects look better with denser strands. For a given amount of money you get the most strands with half a tree. Text doesn't bleed through. If the tree was in a center of a lawn, then 360. At night people don't see the structure of the tree. Ymmv

Depends on how tree will be mostly used IMO.
Half trees looks better if you intend on only using strips and/or are doing graphics & words.
Full tree if not using strips and are doing only things like spirals etc.

Thanks for the thoughts guys.
(Sorry the subject is meant to be 180 - functioning on half a brain because of a 10 month old who's decided it's way more fun to wake up every 2 hours at night)
