Simple question to some,
I have advatek 16 mll, with xlights and 2 100 pixel strings from Ray Wu.
When doing a test of controller all lights test as should.
When I make a single string in xlights of 1 string 200 nodes off 1 port, last 30 nodes are different colors?
I have tried a few other ways and can’t get last 30 nodes to be right color. I expect it to xlights cause with the test function of controller all works great.

Thanks
Brian

Sounds like a universe / config issue. 170 pixels = 510 channels. There are only 512 channels per universe so you have more than one universe with 200 pixels.

you are powering at both ends?

Sorry, just read David's response, that's likely correct a setup issue

Thanks for response, I have tried to change xlights to 2 strings off 1 port(?) output on controller with 2 universe and the maximum is 1020 on the controller.
All power is good, I think, as when I test via the controller it does as should both strings work properly.

Thanks for all ideas

@a300bs post a pic of the setup and layout tabs in xlights, might help us to spot any issues

Thanks guys,
I don’t know what I did different, but they are all same color now. Tried to add photo, maybe hit Indiv start channels in xlights, layout shows string1. #1:1, string2#1:301. Setup has 2 universes 1-510, 511-1020.

More questions to come I’m sure.

Thanks to everyone that takes time to help amateurs like me that forget what we did last year!
