I am planning for 2 x power supplies for my matrix this year. I know not to cross v+ on the dc side, but I am curious about connecting the mains (240v) power to these power supplies. What is the best way to do this?

If using 2 x 350 watt power supplies in the same box then all you need to do is just bridge across the supply that has the 240 v plug connected to it across to the other supply. So Active goes to active, neutral goes to neutral and earth goes to earth.
Just make sure you use a 240v lead with at least 10 amp rating (1mm2 or larger will do) so it can carry the current of both power supplies

Great. thanks Eddy. I was planning to do that, but wasn't quite sure if that was okay. Getting it wrong with 12v is one thing, but 240v is a whole different kettle of fish. Thanks for setting me straight.
