A First for me Last Night.

While chatting with viewers last night, I met a lovely young couple who became engaged at my show a few nights earlier. They had returned with her parents. I was really chuffed - this was the first proposal at the display that I know of.

I'm guessing the lights showed off some extra bling in the diamond ring for the wife-to-be.

Wow, that's great - pretty nice to be able to say that your lights caused a spark (and in the good way!!)

I actually had a nice note put in the letterbox last night from a family that loved the display so much, and had just recently had one of their kids in the hospital that we're raising money for.. Such a nice feeling!
