Find Me On:
    Hi everyone,

We are very excited to announce the arrival of the PixLite 16 Long Range MKII!!

This controller boasts 100 Universes of input data allowing for 96 Universes of pixel output data in addition to 4 standard DMX512 Universes which can be used as an E1.31 to DMX512 bridge. This translates to a staggering total of 16,320 RGB pixels or 12,288 RGBW pixels per control board.

The MKII will have the exact same feature-set as the existing PixLite 16 Long Range control board, except that it drives 3x as many pixels on each output. The control board form-factor is also identical to the current PixLite 16 Long Range control board.

The controller can operate in 2 modes:

Mode 1: Normal - The controller can drive up to 8 receiver boards. Each receiver drives 2 pixel outputs of any supported pixel type. Each of these 2 outputs is able to drive 1020 RGB pixels in this mode.

Mode 2: Expanded - Each receiver drives 4 pixel outputs of any DATA ONLY pixel type. I.E. If the pixels only have a data line and no clock (like the WS2811 protocol), the receivers can drive 4 sets of pixels (up to 510 RGB pixels per set) at the same time. The controller uses all 8 output jacks to send all 32 output channels in this mode. (Number of pixels per data line in this mode is halved compared to using normal mode.)

The MkII Long Range transmitter board is compatible with the existing Long Range receiver board variants.

Finally, we are offering this board for just US$149.95! This is an exclusive pre-sale price only and we expect the first production boards to start shipping out in mid-late July.

You can purchase the controller at this amazing pre-sale price on our store here:

Don't forget that our FREE PixLite control board shipping option for all Australian and USA customers also applies to this new control board

We hope this new product continues our tradition of supplying great quality products at great prices to the DIY Christmas Lighting community.

    Hi,

Just wondering if the pre-sale is still on for the long range board mark II. If not how much will it now cost?

    Cheers
