In anticipation of 2014 and knowing now that we will be making a switch to more DC controller boards, perhaps testing the waters with pixels, etc. my experience so far this year has taught me that I need to do an "Electronics/Electrics 101 Basic Course"!! Does anyone know of any short courses that are held (in NSW) that would be suitable and could you provide me with any info?
    Thanks!!

Not a TAFE course, but I have put some stuff in the ACL wiki that you might find useful.

Keep a close eye on the Forum in the new year. ACL members hold gatherings called mini's. they are full of information and practical demonstrations.

I "second the motion" proposed by superman--look for minis in your area. I attended my first mini in Mississippi (US) and a guy did an "RGB how to". This is my first year to synch and I decided in Sept to do some RGB arches. None of the RGB stuff is really hard, but there IS a LOT to know....
