Hi guys,

This is my first year and I'm slowing getting things together.

Here is my house from the end of the driveway.

I've measured out where I'm putting the lights. :

I bought an F4, diffs, distros and pixels at the beginning of the year to play around with.

If you get your display up nice and early my daughter might get to see it when she is up there. The fact she gets there on Wednesday doesn't give you much time ;)

So here are the clips attached to my house. The Candy Canes are the latest edition. As you can see, using bullets doesn't leave much room behind, but they still hold well without issues. I haven't painted anything, I wanted to get this first year under my belt. Next year, I'll see if I continue with these clips or if I can come up with something else.

looks like to works well, but think missus would kill me if I had that many clips on the walls.
Do you use the grey pvc pipe with those clips?

Yeah, the 20mm electrical conduit. I haven't had any issues with it so far.
I've had those clips attached to a couple of places on the house but screwed on as they are up quite high and not so noticeable but they have been there 4 years now in the sun and the rain and they are still good as new. However, I hadn't thought about using silicon for them further down the house as I guess they could be removed after each christmas assuming it doesn't damage the paintwork when removing. I might give your silicon idea a go and see what happens.

So the dog ended splitting his bed the other day and I was going to take this thing apart, but then looking closer an image began to form in my mind. Christmas tree??? I had this old punching ball stand around the side of the house and put them together. Nothing to happen this year, but I might be able to do something with this next year. Any thoughts?
