Combining LOR and DMX

I believe most of you people in blinky light land use DMX based boards etc , but how many of you incorporate the LOR boards ?
I purchased 2nd hand 11 x LOR CMB16 5 x LOR cmb24 and 5 CCR and trailer load of other stuff - and I mean a trailer load, cheap as chips.
I now want to incorporate 3 x Mega60 boards from AAH and eventually a few of his DMX2-18 to control my 2 wire blinky lights.
Am I better off sunning a separate DMX system or incorporate with what I have ?

Nearly all LOR boards will also support DMX, so you can then just run them all together as DMX.
