I've written a simple Windows application to ping a list of IP addresses and show their status.
It's free and can be downloaded here on da-share. Just unzip the file to somewhere convenient and run it.
You can add and remove items from the list, as well as move them by dragging the leftmost column up/down.
Double click an existing IP address or name to edit it. There are options to set the scan interval, etc as well as open the currently selected item in a browser (assuming it supports a web interface).
