That depends on a few factors including the wire gauge and type of pixel chips you are using. Typically most people will insert one around every 3-5 meters so start with something like that and see how you go - just don't take that as a hard and fast rule.

Thanks Devo, that gives me an estimate on where to start testing and see from there what I need. My pixels are the 2811 (mix of 5v and 12v) will be using 14 out to the first pixel and then 16 guage when I need to connect the next string. Thanks again!
