5 * 5m ws2815 12v 30p/m strips.
Sub-modelled to remove top and bottom horizontal rows since the bends don't align / view from the street.
48 * 15 matrix.

In order to save you from needing to make a submodel, you can set the buffer area in the Layer Settings window so that the effect doesn't cover the entire display item.

Thanks for the tip, wasn't aware of that functionality.
Submodel is once off though. Wouldnt the Buffer need to be applied to every effect in every sequence over and over?

The buffer area does need to be applied to each effect but if the last effect that you clicked in the grid already had the buffer area applied, xLights will automatically apply it to the next effect. A submodel does make sense if you want to have many effects on it throughout the sequence. The buffer area is useful for doing things like having each half of the model displaying a different effect.
