When using an F16V3 controller and a Differential Smart Receiver in normal mode, what setting do I change within xlights to ensure it's setup correctly?

My current setup:
  • I've got an ethernet cable going from F16V3 DMX1 to the Differential Smart Receiver
  • In the controller config page, I've set serial output to PixelData and mapped the 4 ports I want to use (Ports 1, 2, 3 and 4 from my F16)
  • When I use the Falcon test function lights work correctly
  • When I use xLights or FPP, nothing happens
what configuration is required in xLights so that it knows that ports 1, 2, 3 and 4 of my controller are to be sent to the Differential Smart Receiver?

I've resolved this, but not entirely sure how I did it.

I switched controller protocol from E131 to ZCPP and this limited the ability to upload input and outputs, so I switched it back to E131.
When I went into the falcon web config portal, it was still showing controller mode as ZCPP. When I manually changed this to E131, it prompted a restart of the controller.
Once the controller was back online, it operated successfully.

I'm fairly certain, all that was required was a restart of the controller.

For any reading this down the track ... xlights should care how or what happens at the controller end if your sending E1.31.

The Software -> controller is one hop
The controller to remote (or pixels) is the second hop.

They only affect each other when there is a config issue for each hop

Cheers
