Hi Team,

Been researching and playing for a while Used some Bunnings Dream Colour Bud lights last year, that was cool.

This year i have ordered 4 of these Athom Controllers My plan is this. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003776848515.html

Controller 1 - Roof Line
Controller 2 - Gutter (icicles)
Controller 3 - Driveway Outline
Controller 5 - Front Tree

I am going to link them together to create a "show"

My questions.

5V, or 12V? I understand power injection. Should be able to get away with it as they won't be at full power!

5 Volt or 12 Volt Resistor I guess; the 5 Volt will be a bit cheaper, the 12 Volt Resistor a bit more amperage power efficient, 5 Volt versus 12 Volt is a question that has been debated numerous times on ACL. It is essentially personal preference.

Might ask about why that particular controller. Specifications are rather vague.

2023Oct13 Edit: Had my thoughts mixed up, 12 Volt pixels are or would be more amperage efficient. At the time I was assuming WS2811 pixels. So 5 Volt and 12 Volt pixels would be approximately 275 mW and 42 mW respectively (mW = milli Watt).
