I have just finished my 16 string megatree and hooked it up to power supply. My problem is that only the first string lights up. I have checked my connections between strings and they appear ok

What controller are you using. Are all settings correct in controller? I ask this because I made a small mistake the first time I connected my 12 string tree and only the first string lit up.

I am using a P2.
Also just disconnected first string from second and found that the wire colours have changed. First string data was green second string data is blue.

Hi Eddy.
Using a 5volt psu with 5volt lights have not at this stage put any power injection in. Have now got two consecutive strings working however they are only white and can get nothing to happen on the test on the p2.
