50msec timing in hls and as you are aware time tics can not be editited for precise beat marking .
this is as close as I can get it .

Looks good to me.

Is there a physical limit for timing when the wiring system/lights can't actually transmit the signal fast enough to keep up with the timing of the signal.

I believe most of the sequencers provide 25, 50,100 msec timing and work fine for our needs .
You may find issue with certain hardware and timing though , I have read threads of some experiences with bridges and so forth , however I cannot recall the specifics .
With pixels I think less is more when it comes to hardware > example
computer >(switch if required more than 1 ) pixel controller > pixels this has the least amount of propagation .
