    Hi All

I have got my setup wired and have now got to the stage of turning it all on and to start testing it all.
    My current network settings are

    Pi running FPP
    Eth0 IP: 192.168.101.1
    Net Mask: 255.255.255.0
    Gateway: 192.168.1.1

    Wlan0 IP: 192.168.1.101
    Net Mask: 255.255.255.0
    Gateway: 192.168.1.1

    F16v3
    IP: 192.168.101.011
    Mask: 255.255.255.000
    Gateway: 192.168.1.101
    DSN: 192.168.1.101

I am able to access the Pi over both WiFi and lan (if I plug the network cable between the router and the Pi) by typing the IP address in the explorer bar
I am also able to access the F16 via a direct Ethernet cable to the modem by typing its IP address in the explorer bar

However when I plug the Ethernet cable between the Pi and the F16
I am able to access the Pi over WiFi
however nothing else is working I cant test the F16 using the status control -> display testing menu, nor will it play a sequence if selected on the pi FPP interface and the f16 shows no packets received on the lcd screen
I also cannot access the F16 through the Pi. Although I am not sure that I am using the right syntax for doing so. I am trying 192.168.101.11/24 via 192.168.1.101 I have enable routing between network interfaces checked.

Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated as I have been working on this for quiet a few hrs now with no improvement.

    Cheers
    Grant

    Excellent thank you Keith

So I have removed the gateway from the Ethernet port settings on the Pi, turned off IPv6 on my router, added the script into cmd prompt.

Now I can talk through to the F16 wireless from my laptop through the router to the Pi then bridged through to the F16 and I can adjust settings etc.
The E131 status screen now is updating as well showing packets received on both universes that I am using atm. Should these be the same? (they currently are and they increment at the same rate and time) However no lights are flashing. I suspect I might have something wrong in the universe setup across the 3 devices (Vixen, FPP and F16) I will check over these tomorrow.
Also I am still unable to to test the F16 from the FPP screen? testing from the F16 screen works fine.

Thanx again for the link it was very useful.
