New elf
Hi All
I have got my setup wired and have now got to the stage of turning it all on and to start testing it all.
My current network settings are
Pi running FPP
Eth0 IP: 192.168.101.1
Net Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1
Wlan0 IP: 192.168.1.101
Net Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1
F16v3
IP: 192.168.101.011
Mask: 255.255.255.000
Gateway: 192.168.1.101
DSN: 192.168.1.101
I am able to access the Pi over both WiFi and lan (if I plug the network cable between the router and the Pi) by typing the IP address in the explorer bar
I am also able to access the F16 via a direct Ethernet cable to the modem by typing its IP address in the explorer bar
However when I plug the Ethernet cable between the Pi and the F16
I am able to access the Pi over WiFi
however nothing else is working I cant test the F16 using the status control -> display testing menu, nor will it play a sequence if selected on the pi FPP interface and the f16 shows no packets received on the lcd screen
I also cannot access the F16 through the Pi. Although I am not sure that I am using the right syntax for doing so. I am trying 192.168.101.11/24 via 192.168.1.101 I have enable routing between network interfaces checked.
Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated as I have been working on this for quiet a few hrs now with no improvement.
Cheers
Grant
