What a great forum. This place has really helped me focus on what's involved in building a display.
My plan is to build a Mega Tree first & grow from there. I have reasonable electrical & computer knowledge.
I really want to purchase the V3 Falcon controller and boscoyo strips which looks like the first tricky step. Importing the pixels appears easy though. (Ray whu)
Cant wait to get started on this adventure with plenty of time to be ready for the great display month.

Hi Leigh and welcome to ACL, don't forget to check the 101 manual if you haven't already.
Get in touch with @darylc he sometimes gets extra falcon boards in the bulk buy which has just finished.
Get in touch with @TByrne as he's currently organising a bulk buy of boscoyo products, though I believe there's been issues with the bulk strip.

Welcome to ACL
There's plenty of info in the 101 with links to a bunch of different pixels and there's also a number of different suppliers of pixels listed in the back of it.
If ordering from O/S be aware of the $1000 inc freight GST threshold that looks to be changing in a few months.
