Hi,
I’ve been doing a display of solar lights for a few years but I’m hoping to get some advice on improving it and if I can connect some of my store bought solar lights to a new better solar panel so the can get more light during the day.

The solar panel portion of the light set usually contains the solar panel, battery and small circuit board. There are quite a few variations in how these work internally.

What I have done with some solar sets is just use the light string with a low voltage supply. You will lose any flashing functions doing this of course and some strings will only light every second LED when you do this.
