Hi - looking for threads to lock a multi-function controller to one setting (Lytworx icicles)

The newer controllers may not be able to bypassed like they were able to be done in the past.
My DMX2-24 is potentially of benefit to you if you are looking at transitioning from old school multifunction controllers to computer control. It can replace 12 standard controllers and operate either under computer control or as 1 controller controlling 12 strings all with the same function.

Thanks AAH.
On first look at the 101 Manual, the note about latest light strings having only 2 wires and not possible to modify them.
On the off chance it could be, I have attached photos of the powers supply and controller.
Its one of those sets from Bunnings to connect up to 6 sets, so I have a few spare.
I have more photos if there's any hope with these.
Thanks in advance.

In my experience those Lytworx MFCs will boot up in the same mode they were previously powered in.
They do, however, take a good 10 seconds before they start up, so they aren't much use if you want to blink them with any form of controller.

The boards that AAH mentioned above are great for using instead of these controllers as a stepping stone. For something really simple, you can combine it with a USB to DMX adapter to have PC control of it.

Unfortunately you are unable to modify that controller to keep all the lights on, the only modification you can do is to have half of them on at one time with this controller, the H bridge can be seen in this image

the 4 transistors/mosfets that do the switching to reverse the polarity at some high frequency\

AAH's controllers are as far as I am aware, the only way to do what you want and I am having to do that this year with some lights I bought because they seem to have omitted the memory hold function on a lot of products in the last year, so every time things are powered on they go back to the stupid flash though everything mode.
