How many channels on a F16V3

Hi All
Just wondering how many channels people are running on their F16V3s. I notice no one seems to run them even close to their maximum?

- Some research shows that if you run at max number of channels your display may run out of step? If this is the case why is the controller stated as being able to run so many channels?
- Some say they run less so a malfunction will not effect as much of their show?
- Are there any other reasons not to run at full capacity?
- What is a good channel count to run per controller?
I am up to around 9000 channels on my F16V3 atm.

I guess the theory is that you never put all your eggs in one basket. I wouldn’t try to run too much all from the one controller in case it breaks and you loose your entire display.

I run between 5466 and 21717 channels (Thats 1822 to 7239 pixels) on my F16's and one other controller, a J1Sys P12S, has a measly 5133channels (1711 pixels) on it. My controllers are for an area, so if I dont max them out, I dont mind
