How to build a Matrix with Strips or Strings??

I have 2 P2's and a few spare PSU's left over from my christmas display.
I work in a display home on the weekends and thought maybe with my spare P2's I could build an led sign board that I could advertise my home designs from. Something a little different than paper brochures. Plus it would help me learn the different parts of LSP and scheduler for my first christmas show at home this year.
I have some spare ws2811 (30 LEDS per mtr) strips left over, but im unsure these would be sufficient to use as I'll be inputing text into the matrix and uploading logos and floor plans.
Could anyone advise on an ideal setup and what I could use to build a 1m x 1m matrix? and if I should grab some different Strips with more pixels per mtr ie ws2811 60 LEDS/mtr. Or should I look at strings on peg board instead.

Or do what all the other land agents do.. put a large screen tv in the window an attach that up to a computer displaying what you want it to display.. better resolution that way.

You will need a high resolution for that viewing distance and thats where the 60 or 64 LED/m 2811 black strip comes in handy
