maybe bend up some aluminium on a v shaped angle, have holes around the edges and then use wire in 4 different directions down under the tiles to the roof battens?

Grab a price of aluminium angle and some brick ties.

Slide the brick ties between two tiles at 3x points on the opposite pitch side of the ridge and overhang the aluminium angle up over the viewing side of the ridge until there's enough height for the cross prop to hang off the alu angle. Cable tie the alu angle to the brick ties and hang the cross prop. For added security insert another couple of brick ties on the viewing side of the ridge to cross brace the cross prop and hold it firm.
