I just bought some LED Icicle lights with a view to removing the usual 8 function controller and connecting them to one of my CMB24D cards.
The problem is that the lights in this case need 35V DC to light of sufficiently, and my testing showed that even 1 or 2 volts less really affected the LED brightness of the string.
According to the CMB24D Specs, it is rated for between 5-30v DC input.
My question is, has anyone run higher voltages through one of these cards, and were there any issues.
